Tranmere story

Gordon West was an England international goalkeeper, born in Darfield. He began his career with Blackpool before joining Everton in 1962, where he won two league championships and the FA Cup. West later represented Tranmere Rovers and remained associated with the club after retiring from playing. He died in 2012.
